Whether it be for business, fitness or just life in general, it’s important to avoid the busy trap. That being when you get bogged down with day-to-day activities that keep you very busy but don’t actually help you move forward towards your goal or desired outcome.
The first step in achieving anything is to establish what it is you want to achieve. Saying you want to lose weight is very much like saying I want to make more money in my business but when you lose half a pound in 6 months or increase your revenue by £50/annum then technically you have achieved your goal. Let’s be very specific about what the desired outcome is for your efforts and then prioritize the tasks that will take you closer to that.
Being successful is not about doing more, keeping busy and working your butt off. Being successful about prioritizing the tasks that take you closer to your goal.
